Keenya Rotunda Fine Art — Circle Foundation for the Arts

As an artist, I seek to research my psychological landscape and discuss it with you personally. With impacts from Jean Baptist Basquiat, Cy Twombly, along with the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, new combinations of expression and mark-making on textured backgrounds have left my work reach a new level.

American Artist, Keenya Rotunda was born in 1972 and now resides in Southern California. While researching Abstract Painting under Faith Evans-Sills, Mati McDonough, Julie Prichard, and Jodi Ohl, Keenya was a two-time 2016 Art Slant Showcase Award winner.

She’s also a finalist at the 2nd Yearly Fusion Artists Choice Exhibition at Palm Springs, CA. Back in April 2017, she exhibited in the Conception Art Show at Los Angeles, CA to great critical acclaim. September 2017 she had an exhibit in the Colorida Art Gallery at Lisbon, Portugal. Keenya has an art write-up at ArtMaze Magazine, Late Summer Issue Number 4,”Curated Selection of Works”: Rotunda, Keenya, Vol. 2017, p. 104.

She also received an Honorable Mention Award for Circle Arts Foundation’s Artist of the Year award. Her work was collected in the USA by Erik Fryer, David Loverdi, also Deborah Folsom.
